Flourish was created in 2018 as a creative way to support women, gender non-conforming, and non-binary business owners in the earlier stages of their business. Our community benefits tremendously from women-owned, gender non-conforming, and non-binary-owned businesses and we want to continue investing in them. 
Flourish is a way to celebrate, uplift, and financially elevate women, gender non-conforming, and non-binary business owners at an unforgettable live, pitch event.

Flourish seeks to provide a space for community investment in ideas that women-owned, gender non-conforming, and non-binary people have to serve customers in the greater Des Moines community. 
We’re seeking innovative ideas that will spark, grow, or revamp your business; importantly, ideas that people can get excited about!
Three finalists will present their ideas at the Flourish event.
Based on community vote, one finalist will earn a percentage of the funds raised from ticket sales to be used for their business.

Today, this event is a collaboration between Love Local and FuseDSM so we can reach more women and continue raising additional funds to take Flourish to the next level.
